          The Principle of Kozmic Kewlness

 

My meta-scientific speculation is that people tend to see the universe in terms of the most impressive human thing at the time. For instance, during the monarchistic Medieval era, they believed in a Great Chain of Being. During the onset of industrialization, there arose the Clockwork Universe. The same generation of physicists, and indeed some of the same individuals, were responsible for both the Big Bang theory and the atomic bomb. Later cosmologists discovered Inflation theory, during a period of guess what. I call this the “Principle of Kozmic Kewlness”.

From the Principle of Kozmic Kewlness, I predict that the next cosmological paradigm will be that the universe is a quantum computation that recycles.
