The Logical Self Does Not Exist

The Logical Self Does Not Exist

         This morning’s scientific laws

          By evening will develop flaws

          Our models must admit defeat

          Consistency is not complete

Our minds cannot unspin this twist

The logical self does not exist

From far to near I search for me

So close and clear, so hard to see

          Exact description can’t be got

For I am I, but I am not

The central point is always missed

The logical self does not exist

Of what will be no one can say

          But change will happen anyway

The tricks of time we can’t avoid

We all must flow or be destroyed

          Unending ending will persist

The logical self does not exist
