Why is this Pesach different?

Why is this Pesach different from all other Pesachs?

 

For on all other Pesachs, the ceremony is organized or improvised;

But on this Pesach, only improvised.

 

On all other Pesachs, we eat anything from the supermarket;

But on this Pesach, only what was left on the shelves.

 

On all other Pesachs, we wash our hands for five seconds at most;

But on this Pesach, we wash our hands for twenty seconds at least.

 

And on all other Pesachs, we celebrate in person;

But on this Pesach, we celebrate by Zoom.

 

Why?

 

Because this is the Pesach of Affliction,

in the year of the fall of the proud,

when the worst lack all conviction,

and the quiet part is said aloud.
